Apols if this has been done to death before but I am still struggling :
Current nightmare
=============
- 1 Destop running Win XP Pro and Outlook 2003. Connected to Internet via wired (ethernet) link into ADSL router/gateway
- New addition: 1 Laptop running Win XP Pro and Outlook 2003. Connected to desktop and interent via wireless adaptor. Connection speeds are good - 38-54 Mbps.
- 1 husband, 1 wife each with yahoo mail accounts
- Desktop is used by husband and wife who open up a single (ie the same) Outlook instance (single pst file), configured with two pop3 based e-mail accounts. Incoming messages are then delivered into two seperate (but visibale) Outlook folders via a Rule based on "account name"
- inability to make suprise purchases for self/spouse via internet since receipts can be seen by all !!!!
Desired scenario
============
Seperate Outlook pst for husband and wife
- both pst files are held on desktop
- husband and wife are able to log into their own outlook file from either the desktop or the laptop.
- ideally we dont want to have to log out of Win XP and back in under a different log on since everything else is shareable.
- privacy, peace and harmony in home !!!A step by step guide would be very helpful - or a generous person with an email to respond to queries !!!
Many thanks
H & W
