I'm sure this questions has been asked and answered before, but I can't seem to find it, at least not one that helps me. I've recently noticed that I can't open links anymore in Outlook. The address displayed when I hold the mouse over them has BLOCK:: before them. I looked this up and found out that this is a setting determined by the sender. I go to my actual gmail or hotmail and these links all work just fine, so obviously the sender isn't the culprit (this is obvious since these are mostly emails from newegg, eBay, etc). Why is outlook adding blocking to these links, or is this done when the messages are uploaded through the pop protocol. It was working fine until last week so I'm really confused. And as I said, I can't find anything here, or anywhere on the Internet that explains how this can happen on the receiving end of an email.

northwindone, SWAG,I use OE so they may be different (doubt it), in OE, under 'tools' there's an option for the blocked senders list. Same in Outlook? Edit? HTH. Ed in Texas.

I've never seen this behavior. What happens when you right-click on the link? Do you get a menu?
