|I'm having a problem with my Outlook 2003 suddenly becoming unreliable. I have about a half-dozen e-mail accounts managed through Outlook and at various times Outlook will report that it either can't access mail from, or send mail to one or more of these accounts.|
I've confirmed with my ISP that the accounts are fine, and when I run the Outlook account "test" everything checks out okay.
Here's the really annoying part: I've tried running Outlook's detect and repair tool, but it always hangs on the following error:
"Installation Error: File not Found
A required installation file ZF612707.CAB could not be found"
I have the original Office 2003 DVD in the drive, but apparently there's no "ZF612707.CAB" to be found (I've tried searching for it manually as well). Also, when I Google "ZF612707.CAB", I find that lots of other folks are having the same issue, but no solutions. What the heck is ZF612707.CAB? Is detect and repair what I should be doing in the first place? Can anybody help?
