Anyone have a clue as to why my default e-mail client keeps reverting to Outlook even though I have UNchecked that option under the tools...options...other tab...

I only use outlook for calender...journal and note entries...

But each time I open the outlook program...it takes it upon itself to change my windows default e-mail client...

Any ideas...much appreciated!!

If you open up an IE window. Go to tool/internet options then the Programs tab what is the E-mail clien is set to Outlook Express and see if it resolves the issue. If not, reply back. I've not seen the issue myself before so just getting stuff of the top of old brain which running slow cause of stupid cold.

Thanks, KTTD...

That is the method that I utilize to change my preferred e-mail back after outlook does its thing...nothing but a few clicks but annoying each time...none-the-less...

I use outlook for the calendar...journal...notes...etc utilities...

Never seem to have this problem with OE6 and would revert back to using that despite its occasional hangups however outlook 2002 is part of an the officeXP (as you know) that I forked out over 300.00 for and it would really be ashame not to use as much of it as possible...
