For the last 2 yrs, my wife's laptop and my desktop shared Comcast e-mail services (using wireless router).
She has her own e-mail address.
One week ago, she just started to have the following problem:
Composes message, send and it goes to her Outbox but do not go out.
Sending it from the Outbox does not solve it.
I used her Small Business Office CD to Repair and although it goes through the motion and tells me it is repaired, the problem does not go away.
Any suggestions. My e-mail, using the same Comcast Mail Server works fine.

With Outlook open, go to Tools > Options > Mail Setup. Check "Send immediately when connected".

Click on the Send/Receive button on Mail Setup General tab. Make sure both options "Include this group in Send/Receive" are checked. Make sure that the specific account is included in the Group to send.

There are some issues about some add-ons for spyware control.. will also cause the mail to be blocked from sending. Ask your wife if she added some spyware program add-on to outlook....if so then it would have to be properly configured or removed before the mail can be sent

Does this happen for all messages? Are there attachments to the message? Are you sure the outgoing server is correct and the timeouts are set at 10 minutes?

The Server is exactly as mine -that works- and the laptop is set to receive every 4 minutes.
There were no new software installed before or after the problem started to occurred.
I also changed her anti-virus program not to check the outgoing mail, just incoming.
No improvement.
