Outlook 2000 on XP will dial out to check or send mail unless you uncheck the appropriate boxes. For checking the mail, you must uncheck the "Check for mail every x minutes" box. For sending, you must uncheck the "Send immediately when connected" box. At least ME understood the phrase "when connected". In fact, it treated both as "when connected". Has anybody else seen this behavior?
