Outlok Express popup

Recently every time I close Outlook Express a message pops up in a box that reads : To free up disk space, outlook express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minute. Then there are boxes to click OK or Cancel. I know this is no big deal but it is becoming irritating becaus I have to click cancel before I can do anything else with the computer. I have gone through the options in OE and couldn't find any settings to change. I am hoping that someone out there has a solution on how to stop this message. I have plenty of disk space, so I see no need for the message and I use Quick Clean to delete all the e-mail messages from the disk.

I got the same mesage sometime ago after April's Microsoft Windows Update and at first I was reluctant to allow Outlook Express to perform the (unwanted) compression.
At least I pressed OK and the process lasted few seconds without harm and wiped out the annoying pop-up, forever (almost untill the next MS tricky update).

Thanks Tufenuf and Ivo - I guess I just should have clicked on OK and that will stop the popup for another 100 times.
