Out of range error on monitor

CPU/Ram: AMD 1.4Ghz

Anyone know what the following might mean?

My screen goes dead and the following message appears:


"Out of Range HF 30 - 70 KHz VF 47 - 160 KHz
23Khz - 29 Hz".

It's an intermittent problem, just happens once in a while ....

It usually means that there is no input to the monitor. Check your cable to be sure it isn't bent too sharply at the connectors.
