Hi, On my home WInXP pC I am facing a strange problem. It tells me that my C:\ is out of disk space, and slows down the pc. I ahve deleted almost 500 MB from it but I still get the "Low on disk space" warning. my WinXP OS is installed on d:\. Also in the root of C:\ there is a file named "t1ls", extn is "URL File Protocol". The size of this file keeps on increasing on its own. When I start my computer the free space on C:\ is about 5oo MB and the "t1ls" file is about 400 MB. As I continue working on my PC, the "t1ls" size keeps on increasing and hence the free space on C:\ keeps on decreasing. By the time I finish working the size of "t1ls" goes upto 1.2 GB or even more. What si this "t1ls" file and why am I not able to delete it. P. help.

Go here and run an online virus scan. If anything is found, copy the report and paste it in a reply along with a HijackThis log. (Run HT and click 'save log'.) RAV HijackThis!

Have you ran any virus scan software on that drive? Go into the TASK MANGER.. (CTRL+ALT+DEL), find the process that is running the "t1ls", end that process than delete the file. That would be one way if you have not tried that. I believe it might not be able to get deleted because its running in a process.. it has to be because its growing. Kill the process, then delete the file. It is most likely loaded at boot up. You can get into the registry and keep it from trying to Load. I will get back to you on this one..
