ah yes, i use sandbox IE for some porn sites, but i use it through VMware. there is another sandbox program that takes any application, sandboxes it and makes it into one giant executable so u can run it on any computer without installing the app. i forgot what its called and i think its still in devolopment phaze, but it looks promising. also, VMware is great.

VirtualBox (free, open source) beats the living daylights out of both competitors, MS-VPC and VMware. some linux distributors (e.g. Mandriva) recommend VBox as their first choice of virtualization ... try it: http://www.virtualbox.org/ however, some just don't have the resources to run a virtual computer on top of their operating system, that's where sandboxie comes in handy. sandboxie allows you to virtualize almost any application (without creating executable files). you can also install applications within the sandbox to test them ... if you like it, go and and install it, if you don't, throw away the sandbox and your computer is as clean as before. ill try viltrual box, and compare it with VMware. VMware is free as well, you can get just about everything for it except the GUI. the GUI is not free. also, sandbox IE dosent work with many apps, the thing i was talking will take any app and sandbox it. the way it works is you build the app you want to sandbox, you install the app on the desired operating system and the app tracks down all the file and registry entries and collects them so it can "mimic" that in the fiture. the end result is having one giant EXE that can run on any XP system without the need to install the product.
