Reply: (edit)Wow - another update released. Thanks for the head up. I also wanna add that OpenOffice does work well with Vista as has version 2.0.1. BTW don't download it now. The site is already deludged with people downloading the new version. i_Xp/VistaUser

Reply: (edit)I'm rather ambivalent about OO. (I probably wouldn't be if I actually had to pay for MS Office, but I digress) However, my user name demands I post here. Also, I like MS' response to the stealth patching, which basically went something like, "Oh, it's important to have the patcher patched, so we patched it. Perhaps the next time we patch the patcher, we'll ask. Probably not." Now I just sit back and wait for someone to notice Windows Genuine Advantage pulling something similar. 'Cause you know that's the next [il]logical step.

Reply: (edit)"I'm rather ambivalent about OO" i have to admit, MS did a pretty good job on MSO 2007, but for most users and even small business OOo will suffice. especially since OOo comes at the best price of them all :)
