First they sold only PCs with Windows preinstalled.

Now they will soon offer Linux.

Also read this story related to Dell product line makeover (I bet M$ isn't happy about it as they wanted every new brand name PCs to be preinstalled and sold with nothing but Windows)

Probably not. There has been a lot of inquires to Dell and other big name pc manufacturers to offer barebone or 'whitebook' systems (no operating system) Dell has recently offered these, however the price has been more than with a Windows OS installed… go figure!
