Hello
by mistake i installed xp on drive d. so then i installed it again on drive c. and formatted drive d by going myComputer/right click drive d/format. this formatted my drive d but when i'm booting up i still get an option of selecting between the operating systems on c or d. if i choose d it gives me error. what do i do to make the computer realize there is no more os on d and load from c right away?

You can easily do it in Control Panel-System-Advanced-Startup and Recovery Settings-and Edit- Delete the line with D Disk boot. Same You can do with editing Boot.ini(hidden file) in C:root directory. Alex
