I currently have an e-mail account with otpus net (Australia). For some reason I can't get e-mails in Japanese or sent them in Japanese, ALL i GET is scribble. Can anyone help

Have you tried phoning Optus tech support? Ha ha ha.
Sorry, I'm also with Optus and have spent many hours on hold, waiting for tech support.
I've never needed any foreign language support for my emails, so unfortunately, I can't help you.
Hope you find a solution.
Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

I was 20 minutes on hold with Optus Direct last Friday, they were playing some great jazz while I was holding. I also had a Aussie csr to talk to as well. 8)
