I have a Benq/Acer optical (but not wireless) mouse, and have been having problems with the mouse sensitivity. Particularly when selecting multiple files. Do you guys know of any maintenance for optical mice?

have you tried their site for help and support? maybe there is a driver update or something that could help out. also, you may want to try cleaning the hard drive, there may not be a problem with the mouse itself. I had an optical mouse and it was really jerky and had a lot of problems. i switched it out and still had the same problems, until i defragged and cleaned up the hard drive, after that, it work fine, almost better than when i first installed it. (until my step-son spilled chocolate milk all over it & in it and failed to tell me until i found it and there were little puddles inside the mouse)

Are you running the latest driver for the mouse? You may want to go on their website and update your driver if need be.
