Go to Edit (find on This page), type in "931" and look for NT drivers

I have the same problem, i've looked on various driver sites and none of the NT drivers worked...XP wouldn't acknowledge them. Anyone who has working drivers for Opti 931 cards, please let me know how to get them!! email perhaps??

Looks like everyone with OPTi931 has the same problem. Right now I'm looking for Win2K drivers, maybe they'll work?

Damn it's been a month and still no working sound!! No one has any working XP drivers for our OPTI 931 Card?!? :( I can't find any 2000 drivers and the NT ones havent worked. :( HELP!!

i e-mailed opti and this is a part of what they sent me. looks like no xp drivers for opti sound cards :(
AUDIO DRIVERS ============= OPTi sold its audio chip business in 1997 and we no longer have the ability to develop audio drivers. There will be no OPTi drivers supporting DirectX 6.0 (or later), Windows 2000, or Linux. While we have no audio drivers newer than Windows 95, these should work in most applications for Windows 98 and Windows Me.

people i have been looking for opti 931 driver for win2k and xp and i just wanted you to know that opti 931 don't have driver for win2k and xp, they won't make the driver for win2k and xp anymore, if you planning to use win2k and xp instead you have to get a new sound card,
