Comment:

I have recently installed an 80GB HDD to my celeron 566 while trying to install XP i get the error "operating system not found" when the system reboots to complete the installation. The system recognises the correct size of the hdd. WHat can I do to overcome this problem? Is this system incapable of supporting this size drive. Thanks

Chris

First the HD must be setup up right. Jumpers, cables & BIOS settings.

There's a good guide here, talking about 98 but stick with it until you've got a solid, bootable partition and then do your XP install.
