Opening .qic file in XP

My Family Tree file was copied from a zip disc to a CD and now I can't open it. It is a .qic file. Help.....

hi,
it seems a problem with the files that you have tried to copy of with the drivers for the zip drive,if it is the file check by inserting other known good disks try to copy it again,if it is the driver try reinstalling it,if your driver is from iomega go to the site to download the recent one,it works 100%

If the .qic file was made with a system other than XP it can't be opened on XP. The two file types are not compatible from 9x to XP
