Hi all! I'm after some advice on the safety of opening port 4662 for emule. I have a wireless modem/router and I would need to open ports 4662 and 4672 on it. My computer has Norton's firewall, internet protection etc. and it is configured to allow emule. What does it mean to open these two ports? Is it safe? Thanks in advance.

Just an addition to my question above, I have tried opening the ports required and now have a 'high id' on emule which is good. Also when I carried out a port check on the opened ports it said they were 'stealthed'. Why is that? I guess it means I don't have to worry, is that correct? Is it my norton firewall on my computer that is 'stealthing' these ports? Sorry if my questions are a little simplistic, I'm still learning! Thanks again.
