I am using IE..if i have several windows open and click on a link it 'usually' just opens another window...but when i click on a shortcut it ALWAYS takes over a window that is open! I want to be able to open a window from anywhere without having it 'take over' a window already open! I did the " "IE Options- Advanced Tab - Browsing Section - 'Re-use windows for launching Shortcuts" ---but it is still happening...any ideas!?? Thanks!

Thank you jam..that helps with links, but not with shortcuts on your desktop...and i just don't want to have to type that in every time i click--i have shortcuts cuz i'm lazy..i thought that was what shortuts were for...lol...sorry..i don't mean to be ungrateful...i usually have several windows open...this is just a pain...i "thought' that that setting was supposed to work???? The advanced tab option??
