Intel Pentium 4 3.06GHZ
512MB DDR-RAM 333
80GB hard disk
16X DVD-ROM
40x12x48 CD-RW
128MB nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4600 AGP
Creative Labs Soundblatser 1024 Live PCI
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

I want to play some great games like
Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Outcast
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
and Return to Castle Wolfenstein but when I try to play they dont work. All of them are installed and I put the CDs in and try to start the game but they all display the same error message 'COULD NOT LOAD OPENGL SUBSYSTEM'.

Your help will be greatly apprieciated

I have had the exact same problem. What is going on is that you have the default display drivers from Microsoft installed and they don't support open gl. To fix this you need to download and install the latest drivers for your video card. This will fix it 99% of the time ... but beware, installing new drivers for my ATI card caused massive conflicts on my system. I have not heard of problems with GeForce though.

Good Luck.

Hi there,

I agree but when I did this for my GeForce 4 Ti4200 with the latest nvidia drivers, I had the same issues as Pegasus. I would use the default drivers on the CD that came with your graphics card. Ie if its a winfast card, use them. I now dont have any problems and update your card's bios through there as well.

Good Luck
