I have the studio 8 suite from Macromedia (adobe) installed. Any time i try to open anything with the file extension .swf, .jpg, etc... i get the open with prompt box...however, none of the macromedia applications are an option. if you go to browse and pick the flash player to open .swf files, it reverts back to the open with screen....can anyone help?

AdamMac12, take a look at what opens what @: http://filext.com/ once you know what to use to open the files, simply check the box to always use that to open that type file and never have that particular problem again (there'll be plenty of others!). HTH. Ed in Texas.
