hi all im stuck with this,I'm given a task to find a open source mail client that would work with MS Exchange server using MAPI protocol,any one out there know any client software that can be supported (e.g. MS outlook) also is should to able to read PST file and read the address book from the Exchange server.pls give your feedback.

PST is a proprietary format.

Thunderbird can import PST's, but not sure it plays well with the calendar on Exchange. I think there's problems accepting meetings.

Evolution's going to be your best open-source app for connecting to an Exchange servers, but not sure how it handles PST's. You might give it a try.

I dunno Exchange server, but if it's a POP try Pegasus.
