Comment:
With an Athlon 1.2 mhz system and GeForce mmx 64 mb video card, i'm unable to get Open GL going in Windows XP Pro. The error message is "doesn't support Open GL." Tried downloading XP detonator, assorted tweaks, nothing works. Any ideas?

I have a gforce 2 Ti.......I am running the 28.32 drivers and can run opengl. If you use Windows XP drivers you may not be able to use opengl. I tried the latest drivers 30.xx and wasnt sure but I seemed to be having some problems so I went back to the 28.xx. Basically its all in the drivers....the drivers need to support XP and you need to find the ones that work best with your paticular system.

Uninstall previous driver reboot do a search type in nv*.* and delete the files and reboot. After reboot install new driver. This should solve your problem
