Open file with batch script

I have a batch script that takes a file as an argument and runs a few commands on it.

I would like to be able to set it up so that if someone right clicks on a type of file and goes open with, then picks my script from the list it runs on that file. Like it would if the file was given as the argument.

I have tried adding my script to the list of programs in "open with" but when i run it the file name is not given to the scrip.

Does anyone know how I can get the script to the file that I am using to open it?

Have a look in here ... it mentions to right-click on folders, but maybe it relates to files as well
