I have a new computer and sometimes when I click on a link in an email it opens it up in an already opened window. How do I have it open in a new window? BTW, I already have disabled this: IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > Reuse window for launching shortcuts, but the link opens in an already opened window. Thanks for your help.

I'd guess it is because you had already been to that link, so the Window has been retained in IE History. Go to IE/Tools/Internet Options. Hit Clear History button. Also worth hitting Delete Files button (inc "Delete all offline content"). Worth keeping those temporary internet files clear but it will happen again if you go through the revisit loop again. I re-read your post and now wonder if I properly understand the question. Links in emails will always go to a specific Window. You can swipe out the last part in the line in the Address bar, leaving just http://www.website.com (or whatever) which usually takes you to the home page if that's what you mean. Derek.W

Sorry for not making myself clearer. What happens is there is a link in an email to a webpage. Instead of that web page opening up in a new window, it opens up in one that is already open. I want it to bring up a new page. Any ideas?
