On-Screen Volume Control

On my last HP computer, when I would adjust the volume with the keyboard volume control, I would get an on-screen display bar that would show what the volume was set at, it would come on and go off only when I touched the volume knob. Now with my new Pavillion, I don't have that feature, does anyone know a good program that will show the volume when I use the volume keys?

My son had a Pavilion and the program that was responsible for that onscreen volume as well as the instant internet button and other specialized buttons was called "Multimedia Keyboard". I had problems with it because his PC would connect to the internet through the ICS(internet connection sharing) on my PC and would be making the modem dial up on my PC all the time for no reason. Anyway, you might have that disabled, if you have it, what's the model # , and we can look it up or you can go to www.hp.com and check it out.

Thanks for the reply Scott!
I've already called HP about it and they stated only certain models have that capability and mine is not one of them. I have a multimedia keyboard with my HP 753n, and it has a volume button on it, but it doesn't show the on-screen display. That's why I was hoping there might be a program somewhere. Thanks for your help anyway, I'll keep searching.
