I'm using [Ahead Nero] InCD version 3.5.19.2
Suddenly my CDRW will not read burned CD's made by any software--yet 2 mos ago burned CD's were read without any problem.
There is no problem reading Original CD's.
Question: Would cleaning my laser lens seem likely to help in this case? [I have once successfully cleaned a CDROM that wouldn't read at all.]
Are there software issues that could cause this problem?
I would suggest that the laser opical pickup in your burner may not be operating at full strength. There is a difference in the surface of the burned CD and the pressed CD and your lens may no longer be able to determine the surface of the burned CDs. In other words it may be time for a new writer... how old is the one you are using... or rather how much work has it done?
