Thanks in advance,
KingstoNP.S. I am from Greece and i 've got 2mbps DSL
and my ISP is OTE

Welcome to computing.net! I don't see why the internet would cause your machine to freeze to the point that holding the power button down would be the only way it will cut off. Does holding the Ctrl-Alt-Delete buttons not work? If not, try using the PC for a long time in other tasks other than surfing the web and see if it still freezes. If it does, it could be a hardware problem.

Hi rwd1996..As you said, when i am offline i don;t have this problem..this problem shows up when i download files and except for freezing the screen sometimes the screen turn off and when turned on manually don;t show nothing

This is a shot in the dark, but maybe there's a fault in your network card that shows up only when data is pulled through it. If your network card is integrated, try disabling it in the BIOS and trying to install a PCI network card.

Your re-loading Windows has probably eliminated the possibility that malware is causing your problem.
Whenever you load Windows or re-load Windows from scratch, after Setup has finished you must load all the drivers for your mboard, particularly the main chipset drivers, so that Windows has all the proper drivers for and information about your mboard. Your mboard will probably not work properly in Windows unless you do that.
The CD that came with the mboard has all the necessary drivers, including the main chipset drivers, though they may be older than current driver downloads you can get online. Mboard manufacturers and system builders have software downloads available for your model on their web site, but they often don't have the main chipset drivers - in that case you must get the main chipset drivers from the maker of the main chipset's web site, and install them, as well.Since you say the computer doesn't freeze till about 1 hour or more has passed, it's probably not possible for it to be caused by malware or software.
Your problem is probably caused by a hardware problem.Failing power supplies are common and can cause your symptoms.
Check your PS.

http://www.computing.net/hardware/w...Overheating of your cpu can cause your problems. You can check the current temperature of your cpu in your bios Setup pages, or by using hardware monitoring software in Windows (which is often available on the CD that came with the mboard)- the best time to do that in your case is right after your computer freezes. If the tempertaure is too high, or in any case, turn off the AC power to your computer power supply, open up the case and check for accumulated mung (dust, fuzz, lint) on the cpu fan and/or cpu heatsink - remove any accumulation - you often have to remove the cpu fan to properly clean hidden mung ontop of the heatsink and on the bottom of the fan blades. Restore AC power and make sure the cpu fan is spinning a reasonable speed and has not stopped spinning - if it makes any rattling or screeching noises, most likely to be heard when the computer is started after having cooled to room tempertaure, replace the fan as soon as you can - it's bearings are failing and it will eventually stop spinning.
.....If your cpu is overheating and you can't find an obvious cause......
Make sure the cpu heatsink has an adequate thermal pad or other thermal compound (grease or paste) between it and the cpu, especially if you installed it yourself. If the cpu was already installed when you got the computer and you haven't touched it, it's probably okay, and the heatsink and cpu fan combo is probably adequate. A thermal pad (thin preformed layer that usually comes stuck onto a new cpu heatsink) is designed to be used only once, and a used or damaged thermal pad should be scraped off and replaced with another thermal pad, or thermal grease or paste should be used, whenever you remove and re-install the heatsink. AMD proved in testing that not removing a damaged thermal pad and using thermal paste or grease as well allows the cpu to get hotter than it does with a new thermal pad or by using thermal grease or paste alone.
If you use thermal paste or grease, use an adequate amount but not an excessive amount - too much can impede cooling. The max you need is enough to coat the top of the cpu without overflowing, or less - you may only need to coat the cpu core.If the cpu fan and/or heatsink did not come with the cpu, it/they may be inadequate. You may need to get a cpu fan and /or heatsink or combo of the two that cools better than what you have.
If you are overclocking , reduce or eliminate your overclocked settings - e.g. increasing the cpu core voltage above standard has the greatest affect on how hot the cpu gets.
Possible but unlikely:
Some mboards (e.g. some Asus ones) have a jumper that allows for overclocking the cpu by increasing the cpu core voltage. If that jumper is in the overclocked position, the increase in the cpu core voltage may not be displayed in your current voltages in the bios Setup, so you are not aware of it. If there is such a jumper on your mboard, make sure it is in the non-overclocked position. (I encountered a brand new Asus KT600 mboard that had that jumper in the overclocked position - moving that to the non-overclocked position lowered the cpu temp by 10 or more degrees C for all load situations.)
