Hello All,

This is my 4 years old Fujitsu-Siemens, german make, P3
IGHz 256mb SD RAM machine. It used to work fine till one
morning I did some high end statistical computing (I have
done this before as well) and PC froze, as usual as it
would take all system resources to do that job. After job
was done, I saved the results (This as excel plug-in)
Now I have this file but when I tried to close this file,
everything stopped responding, mouse, keyboard, power
switch, literally everything.
As a final option, I removed the plug from main power
source and again plugged in to restart and what PC won't
start.

Initially, I thought HDD crashed but no its working fine,
then I thought graphic card is dead, even tried other one
but nothing happens. No beeping, no BIOS loading
nothing happens.

Any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks

Hi:Is your CMOS Battery Good?
IF yes, then It Could be Your PSU ,Or your CPU/Motherboard has gone South
Finally :It doesn,t hurt if you Open the Case & reseat Everything inside
Bon Courage...

My opinion is that unplugging anything that is ON cause sudden surges of power during the pulling of the plug.

PowerAid,

CMOS battery should be OK as I doubt it would stop function all of a sudden. I opened the case an checked only HDD and graphic card as they were my suspicion, nothing else so don't know how to work with it.

Chuck2, didn't quite understand your reply
