HELLO TO WHO IT MAY CONCERN: I HAVE A "GEEK" COMPUTER MADE BY COMPUTER RENISSANCE THIS COMPUTER IS A CUSTOM BUILT BY THERE TECHS I PURCHASED IT LAST YEAR IS A DURON 700MHZ WITH 128 MEG RAM, 20 GIG HD THE PROBLEM IS EVERYTIME I TRY TO START THE INTERNET THE THING JUST LOCKS UP PERIOD. SO I POWER IT DOWN AND RESTART IT. IT NEVER DID THIS BEFORE UNTIL I PURCHASED XP. THANKS
You may want to double check your properties on your internet connection. Most of XP defaults have compression marked in several places. My ISP does not like any compression sub routines so I had to turn them all off before my login would work.
