Using Windows XP, am administrator on local computer, hidden files are shown. Cannot view c:\Document&Settings\My Profile\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK folder in Windows Explorer. Can search on folder and see folder when running to UNC, but cannot see folder in Windows Explorer. Deleted local profile and recreated, still same error. Any ideas? Thanks.

The folder may have a system share assignment with the "$" after its name hiding it from the browser.
You may or may not be able to rename it without the $.

For some reason it isn't ever visible in the Windows Explorer view.
However, you can see it from a command prompt.
If you want to get to get to command prompt and type the following and hit enter (make sure to use the "quote" marks before the c:\ and at the end:
cd "c:\documents and settings\%username%\local settings\temproary internet files"
That will changed you to the folder that will contain the OLK folders related to the profile on which you are logged in at the time. You can do a DIR to list the folders in there.
One more note....if you delete the OLK your system is using (or delete all of them) the system will create a new one the next time Outlook needs a temp OLK folder. AND, it will use a new, different name. Even if you create a folder that is named the same as the one you'd just deleted Outlook won't use it for some reason. Go figure.

DOH. Typo in the path. *sigh*
cd "c:\documents and settings\%username%\local settings\temporary internet files"
***typo was in the temporary***
Remember to type that in as one long line and not two lines as the word wrap on this page makes it appear.
