OLE Inbox Email radomly deleted

When switching identity from one email address to another address, Outlook Express gives me a message of "need to compress disk space". In the past when I press "yes" nothing happened to my email, but starting about two/three months ago when I press yes and after it compresses the files, when I go to my email inbox I notice it has deleted my emails. For one period it deleted Dec.13 2010 thru May 23. Yesterday it deleted June 9 to June 23. What is making OLE delete my incoming emails for a "random time period"? It has never done this in the past when compacting disk space, cannot figure out. It did it one time before and my son found the emails sitting some place (can't remember) trash, deleted, ???, and he made a special file "old emails" and moved them there. But why is it randomly deleting??

cdelahaba, suspect it isn't actually deleting them, but rather renaming them to add the suffix 'ole' and moving them to storage. Do a search for '.ole' files and see. Sounds to me like that's pretty much what your son did before.
