Hello,
I have a second hand computer that i was given it didnt come with any install disks but it has previous installs of windows 95, windows NT and windows 98 all installed on it and then they have installed windows XP on top of all that , which also has no install disk
I cant find any uninstall things for any of the previous ones (95,NT,98) and just want to keep the XP they installed as all the others are taking up all my memory
if i can avoid having to fork out $180 for a new windows xp boot up disk i would perfer that
if anyone can tell me how to get rid of all these other installs please reply as i am desperate and need memory on my comp

You can't "uninstall" an Operating System. Does each OS reside on its own partition? Which OS is installed on C:?

Boot to Windows XP and you should just be able to delete the other installation vie windows Explorer.

That isproviding they are all in their own partitons, If someone has installed multiple Operating System in the same partition then you do have problems and will probably need an installation disk.
