Hi,
I updated my Windows ME system to Windows XP, but now there are things I cannot do because I am not logged in under the "administration" account, which does not show up under User Accounts. I would like to remove that account and have my XP Computer Administrator accounts have the requisite privileges.

Start the computer in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key during boot-up. You should now see the hidden Admin account, enter that account and go to Control Panel - User Accounts; there you can change you account to an Admin account.
