Comment:

hi, i have some .wav files that were encoded with the ogg vorbis codec. they came with fruity loops 4, which also installed the codec. now for some reason, the codec doesnt work right. the .acm file is in the system32 directory with the rest of the .acm files, but it doesnt show up in the codec list in the audio control panel.

and no, im not looking for a player like winamp, im looking to make the codec work.

ive been reading around, and i read that if i had the intervideo dvd/mp3 xpack installed, it would cause conflicts. but this hasnt been installed for a while. i took it out a few months ago. how would i go about resolving this conflict if it is indeed the problem?

thanks
Dave

Dave: try out this codec utility to see if it can assist in any way;
