Hi, I'm using win XP Pro and can't seem to find the Office shortcut bar like in win2K and earlier versions of office. Can anyone tell me where is it located exactly ..??

what version of office are you running? if its 2003 there is no office shortcut bar. read this:

Toolbars usually slow down booting and give features you never use. You are probably better off making your own tailored arrangements (shortcuts to .exe files you need).
