Dear All,
When I try to install office 97 in Win XP Pro, I'm getting an error "16 Bit Installation not Supported". Whereas I'm able to install office'97 in Win XP Home Edition. Can anyone help me out on this please?

Strange it works OK in Home & not Pro. Where in the install does it fail ?
I've just briefly run setup.exe from the Office 97 CD on my machine (stopped short of actually installing as already got Office 2000 installed) but it didn't complain up to the point I cancelled.
Might be worth trying a right click on setup.exe then properties & compatibility.
