Web browsing through Outlook on some pages results in script errors. This does not happen directly on IE7. One such error is at www.comcast.net/explore. In the news items pane in the middle, click right arrow until get to Video News. Click on any subject and get 'An error has occurred in the script on this page
', with varying line numbers, error code 0In IE advanced setting I have:
- unchecked disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
- unchecked disable script debugging (Other)
- unchecked Display a notification about every script error.Does anybody have any ideas about how to fix?
Thanks

Some sites have problems with their scripting. If you put checks in each of the boxes you listed the error displays should quit. Not all web developers have the code set to work with all of the versions of IE, especially IE7.

Thanks. I meant to say above that I have the 'disable script debugging' checked, not unchecked. All that does is stop the debugger from starting up. It still displays the error. However note that all the the sites work fine if viewing directly through IE7. The problem only occurs when browsing to a website directly from within Outlook 2003. We also have the problem on a computer with Outlook 2007.
Note that I also found this happens on any site in which you have logged in, and then you click on something that gives you a popup window within the authenticated area. It looks like the authentication is not following to the popup when browsing through Outlook 2003/2007. On the comcast site, you have to login to see those videos as well. I tried this with a few webmail sites and got the same problem.
This looks a lot like the hotmail problem that there is a lot of stuff online about. So I tried installing the Microsoft KB 904942, but it does not fix the problem.
I am still stumped.....
