OE Identities not switch on 1st try

Hi, Here is a problem that I have always had, even with new installs - don't know if it's a bug in Outlook Express, or something else. I have 2 identities, "Tim & Carol" and "Ebay". When I start up OE it automatically goes to my Main Ident. which is "Tim & Carol". When I want to go to my other identity, "Ebay", I click on "FILE", "SWITCH IDENT.", "CLICK EBAY IDENT", "OK" and it goes right back to my main identity the first 1 or 2 tries and than to my "Ebay" one. , (usually after 2 or 3 tries). Anyone ever hear of this? Also, is there a keyboard shortcut to switch? Thanks!!

Apparently you can create your own shortcuts to each identity. See LINK. It may help. If not Google for more possibilities.
