Often when switching between identities in OE 6.0, the program will stop responding. It gets hung up. I cant get the prog back without restarting my PC.
I have looked at some different forums on how to prevent this and they all tell me to go to my registry and delete a DWORD entry titled Changing with a value of "0" This does not exist in mt registry!
Does anybody have any ideas? This is a horribly annoying problem I know many people have experienced.

Scott: to work around this problem, configure Outlook Express to prompt you for an identity at startup:
in Outlook Express, click File, point to Identities, and then click Manage Identities.
click to clear the "Use this identity when starting a program" check box.
click Close.then instead of clicking File, Switch Identities, simply close and re-open OE.
you will then see the Identity logon screen then select the Identity you want.if you installed OE 6.0 SP1 there is a patch available for this identity switch fault at:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=331923
when the patch (Cumulative Update for Outlook Express 6.0 SP1) is installed, your OE Help, About dialog box will show version number 6.00.2800.1123.
