Hey, I think I may have been infected by the NYB virus from an infected floppy I tried to format. NOD32 (My AV) couldn't find anything, but I'm certain the floppy is infected. Is there any way I can get rid of the virus? (Windows XP)

Ugh, I think I'll just reformat the computer. Wasted enough time trying to get rid of it.
...But, as for my other computer that I inserted a possibly infected floppy disk... Does NYB spread by simply plugging the floppy disk into a floppy drive while the OS is loaded, or if you do a right-click format on it?
Some of the descriptions I read about it on google is that it spreads by BOOTING from the floppy. (Ie. Before the OS loads.)
NOD32 didn't find any virus. So do you guys think that it's not infected?
