nVIDIA tv-out XP problem

IN Windows XP the tv out prot of my nVIDIA Vanta/TNT2 video card won't work. I have tried everything to get it to display on my tv, but the tab where the tv is an option it has that option greyed out. I have tried clicking on detect displa, but nothing seems to happen. I have tried all the newest and latest drivers, I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling it. Nothing seems to work!! If anyone has figured out why this seems to happen or has any new ides for me to try i'd appreciate it!

Hiya,
I had the same problem, have you tried connecting your PC to your TV then going to the TV option, it should now be available, I believe that it detects it is connected before giving you the option to use it.

Do you guys have any other ideas? I have tried both of those options, when I used TV Tool and set it to tv mode my monitor just went blank, but nothing came up on the tv. And I have had the computer hooked to the tv all along. So u guys have any other ideas? I appreciate the help though!

ok goto the control panel and delete and or remove any of the video card drivers in there then reboot the computer when it restarts it asks you if you want xp to fix the resotulion because its in 640*480 dont click the box!!!!!! click the X and close it!!!!!!! now install the drivers you want in 640*480 and it will ask you to reboot and there you have it tv out works
