my problem also with my nvidia riva tnt2 m62 video card is that is has a horizontal line appearing with its driver is installed properly and my friends told me that its layering is the problem...how can i fix that???does someone know this?

Hey, i got that same video card to! but i dont have that problem! what you should do is download the lattest driver form nvidia.com and maby that will help!

I also have that same card with no probs in XP. After I installed XP went to the windows update site there was a driver update for that card and for my samsung 955df monitor. When I downloaded and installed both updates at the same time I encountered the infamous XP reboots when you try to shut it down problem. So I used the handy dandy system restore feature which took care of shut down problem. I then dowloaded and installed the two updates one at a time completely shutting down between the updates. No probs with video card , monitor, or shutdown ever since.
