Specs: Windows XP
I built my pc about 5 years ago with an nvidia motherboard and amd processor. I load windows xp. when I boot, It does not say anything but "NVIDIA" then starts windows. I want to get into bios. When loading 1st boot device such as cd rom, it gives me a split second to react and I figured out that pressing F9 will give me some kind of bios, but all it gives me is a boot first device and boot second device option. Shouldnt there be more bios options than that?

Could be F2, F11, Esc or Del to get into your BIOS.

bios is before xp. this should be in the hardware forum.

AND this is a double post. Might want to review the forum rules.

Usually Esc or Tab will close the splash screen & reveal the POST screen hidden behind it. Jennifer listed some of the more common keys used to access the BIOS menu.
