I'm probably late on the scene,
Having some serious issues here with Nortons antivirus and fire wall on XP, Neither 1 will load or run correctly no matter what I do, or when I do it. Not sure if it is just my demonstration of inabilities or whether I'm on to something. Any 1 had any probs with these 2? and if so how did you overcome this? I can not complete a full install of wire fall and need to do a clean boot to get it off (it keeps saying I'm not the administrator, well if I'm not then who is, I'm the only user!)Antivirus will load but will not auto protect and will not update either auto or manually. When I check the auto protect and close the window, it resets itself every time back to no protection. The program will not do a complete scan of the drives and will continually shut its self down. Any help at this stage would be of benefit.

hey dog man i thought i was the only one i have been having the exact same problem norton anitvirus or firewall wont run i try to auto protect on but it wont i see the X over the icon on the taskbar
