Howdy, Well seems to be a problem with your Nvidia video card. Since your post lacks details I can't tell you why, I take it you where playing a game. Anyways, the nv4.sys is the miniport driver for your video card. You can try downloading the latest drivers for your card via this link,

for the installion, i mean how to replace it for the winxp installion. As the nv4.sys is in the driver.cab loacted in i386

You don't need the driver during the installation. Install it like you do in Win2k or Win9x after the installation is finished.

Hey Unauthorized, You do need it during installation. I too have a TNT 16MB Card and during installation it errors out (blue screen NV4.SYS) and will not continue installation. Repeated restarts and still the error. I have tried clean installs and upgrades from WinME. I need help getting this installed. My system:
