Hi,
It is more of a theoretical question:
I need to connect directly two XP. I want to exchange files in both directions. I have two options, as far as I know
a. direct cable connect
b. null modem connect
Which one is better? I understand that DCC works only in one direction - is the same holds for null-modem connection? Are there workarounds? For example, can I use ftp upon one of those connections?

thanx alot,
ole

if you want to trnasfer files then fastest would be to use a crossover network cable, easiest to setup too
