hey all. sorry, i went through all the other ntoskrnl probs but couldn't find the solution to mine. i received that common error that ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt, and i downloaded the file from microsoft and made the 6 boot disks. but here's my prob...
after accessing the xp cd-rom i was able to gain some control of my HDD, but when attempting to view the system32 folder, it would stop half way through and give an error message saying "An error occured during directory enumeration."...what is this?
i burned ntoskrnl.exe from another xp comp, but it would not allow me to copy it- almost like that part of my hard disk was bad.
