2 weeks ago i bout an 80GB HDD, and put it on my computer, it worked fine until about 4 days later (during these 4 days, i did other work on my computer).
when i switched on the computer on the 5th day i got an error saying "NTLDR error" or something similar. If I got into setup, initially it would read the 2 HDD together as a single one, totalling upto 100GB, then if i did a rescan for HDD it would refresh to just say the 80GB HDD, i'm guessing that this means theres a problem with the lead connecting them, so it will only detect the one HDD, but before i try another leads, is there any other reason why i mioght be having this trouble?

The following article says at the bottom that you may be able to into XP if:
# Missing or damaged Ntldr or Ntdetect.com files.
